Specification numbers matter more than brand names here. Dexron, Mercon, ATF+4 and CVT fluid are not interchangeable, and using the wrong one damages a transmission in ways that show up months later. Every fluid lists the specification it meets.

Additives state the treat rate and the volume they treat. Where a product is a concentrate, the dilution ratio is in the description.
