MIG, TIG and stick welders, plasma cutters, cutting torches, regulators, wire, electrodes, helmets, gloves and welding tables.
Input power is the first thing to check. A welder that draws more amperage than your circuit provides will trip breakers under load, and the duty cycle rating tells you how long it can run at a given output before it needs to cool.
Wire and electrode listings state diameter and classification. Helmets state the shade range and whether they are auto-darkening. Gas regulators state the service they are built for.
