PCE Instruments Geiger Counter (PCE-RAM 8) is a high-precision instrument designed for detecting and measuring gamma, beta, and X-ray radiation. It provides real-time dose measurement, allowing users to monitor cumulative radiation exposure over a defined period. This feature is essential for ensuring safety in radiation-prone environments.
The device offers accurate readings displayed in microsieverts per hour (µSv/h) and microroentgens per hour (µR/h). The built-in acoustic alarm system alerts users when radiation levels exceed pre-set thresholds, ensuring quick responses to hazardous conditions.
