PerTronix Flame-Thrower Ignition Coil – 30738

Ignition Coil; 3 Volt; Set Of 8;

While it’s the perfect coil to go with the PerTronix Ignitor breakerless ignition, our 40000 volt Flame-Thrower canister coil can benefit virtually any distributor type inductive system. Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy. These coils are internally resisted so installation and wiring is drastically simplified. Our oil filled coils offer great heat control for street driven vehicles, while our epoxy filled coils provide superior winding support for high vibration environments in off-road vehicles and boats.

• 30000 Volts.
• Direct OE replacement.
• Optimized coil design yields at least 15 percent more energy available for the spark than the most common OE coils.
• Provides the spark energy throughout the RPM range and with no energy degradation up to 11000 engine RPMs.
• Plated Copper terminals for added current conduction.
• Moisture resistant construction ensures long life in harsh environments.
• High temperature boot sustains seal and form.
• Epoxy molded for shock and vibration resistance.

Hardly a newcomer, PerTronix begins a fourth decade as a market leader in the electronic performance ignition industry. Originally known as Per-Lux, the company was founded in 1962, primarily a manufacturer of driving and fog lights for the heavy-duty market (big rig trucks).

From classic cars to forklift trucks, PerTronix continues to supply the performance that their customers deserve.
